Servo Travel Saws

Servo Travel Saws

Cutting with Precision

Reliability & accuracy first

A convenient fully bidirectional servo travel Chop Saw or Upcut Saw provides reliable and accurate cuts on small PVC pipe products. Advanced motion control provided by Allen Bradley's Kinetix Servo Drive coupled with an Allen-Bradley CompactLogix PLC provides cut-length repeatibility of approximately +/-0.030". A heavy duty industrial rated AC servo motor, coupled with a robust belt-drive actuator with up-sized motor and gearbox yields a saw that tolerates long run times in any conditions. Along with the inherent durability of the components, care has been taken to seal the drive system against sawdust and other contaminants.

Cutting Away,

All Day

Economical and rugged

An economical, rugged saw for cutting pipe and profiles to very consistent lengths. Extra-duty arbor bearings, with precision tolerance shaft, for long life and quiet operation. For our Upcut Saws, the motor sliding frame operates in a straight vertical motion, and rides on THK style linear bearings to eliminate sloppy saw cutting motion. Table rides on our unique bearings: smooth traveling Thomson linear bearings mount on one side of table, for precision and rigidity; simple cam followers mount on the other side, to prevent misalignment and assure long bearing life. Table Forward pneumatic cylinder has low-pressure regulated forward motion. "CATO" assisted takeoff helps synchronize the table speed with the product.

Rotary Saws

Let's Start Cutting Around

Years of dependable service

The PEM Rotary Saw is designed to be air operated and air powered. The Saw has an innovative power transmission system without electrical slip rings, hose reels, or cable reels. There are no tools required to change pipe sizes or chamfer adjustments. This allows size changes to take approximately 1 - 3 minutes, while chamfer adjustments can be made in as little as 15 seconds. The clamps are universal so they fit all sizes of pipe which cuts down on change-over time,  and also on the necessity of purchasing individual clamp sets for each pipe size. These special features coupled with the use of quality vendor parts, provide a maintenace friendly product for years of dependable service.
