PIPE EQUIPMENT - COOLING TANKS

Versatility, cooling efficiency, and solid design are what make this cooling tank system special. Available in three different configurations (spray only, flood only and spray/ flood), provide you the choice of the right system for your particular product line.  We make each cooling tank system to specifically match your unique requirements, while still providing the versatility to meet your future requirements.  Each spray tank employs a system of unique spray nozzles to produce a full conical, atomizing spray which creates an efficient cooling fog for maximum heat dissipation without marking your product. A similar system is employed in the flood tanks providing a high level of agitation to scrub away the thermal barrier that forms around the product reducing the cooling efficiency in common flood tanks.  All cooling tanks have separate water flow sections which enables you to control the water flow to each section. Clear Plexiglas lids, inset into the tank top, cover each section for easy observation of product flow.  When matched with the PEM Vacuum Sizing Tank, a complete cooling system will be designed to match your unique cooling requirements. The cooling tanks are made to customer request, however, as a general rule, cooling tanks for pipe in sizes of 12” and larger are curtain style, while 8” and smaller are generally solid wall style. Either style can be made in any size.
